Today's Hobby Update features two squads of three Eliminators for my White Scars army. These two units will provide some useful sniper support for the army, able to take on enemy characters or units hiding out of line of sight.
I painted these up similar to my White Scars Sniper Scouts, adding static grass to the camo cloaks to blend in with the bases.
The problem I had with models in camouflage is that I often forgot that I had them on the table (it was nothing to do with the beer I drink at tournaments....honest). These look great, I just hope you don't 'lose' them on the tabletop ;-)
ReplyDeleteHaha! I'm hoping that won't be a worry for my games.
DeleteI did this to a kit bashed model of Sly Marbo many years back, he sat on a store gaming table for a week before anyone noticed, including me!
DeleteHaha! Well, he was camouflaged!
DeleteNice scouts, Mike! I love the cloaks and the use of static grass for this purpose.
ReplyDeleteIt's camo patterns the easy way! Just the way I like it.
DeleteI like the simple addition of the static grass, it actually helps these glaring white giants blend in somewhat! Ha ha. I didn't realise how BIG these were until a squad of my opponents was sitting next to a squad of Sniper Scouts! Nice squad, two more squads coming?
ReplyDeleteThey are massive compared to the Scout snipers. I think 2 units are enough for me!
