Hobby Update 07/01/19- White Scars Primaris Intercessor Squads

Today's hobby update are some models that I completed last year, my White Scars Intercessor squads. I got three units of five Primaris Marines painted up before a tournament last November. This past weekend, I added the transfers to the unit to finish them off.

The White of the armour creates a bit of a glare in the light box, so you can't see the details too clearly in the photos below.

I've got a few more White Scars units left to paint up for a new tournament in February. I'm currently working on these this week.

  3. Very nice! That looks like a really neat paint job. I wish my decals went on that smoothly; the Dark Angels symbol is so large at the top that you really need to use MicroSol to soften it around the curve of the armour. I gladly pay through the nose to buy sculpted pads these days :-)

    1. Don't worry, my Dark Angels ones are the same! They are a really awkward shape and don't always go on well. Fortunately, the White Scars ones are a lot easier, and the bigger shoulders of the Primaris Marines helps too.

    2. Marc I also make small incisions on the decal top edge that helps the decal fold around the curve without creases.

    3. Yes, I do that too. With Imperial Knights those little incisions are vital and a whole lot bigger!
