Terrain Showcase- Tournament Tables

 In the last year, I have been hosting some local 40k tournaments at the gaming club. These have been a lot of fun, and something I was keen to try out after getting the gaming club up and running. Our largest event so far has been Oxford Onslaught, which featured 34 players competing over 2 days. 

Here are some pics of the tables that were used at my tournament events. 

Terrain Showcase- UKTC Tyranid Infestation

Another week, another terrain showcase. This time, my most recently completed board, a Tyranid Infestation board. 

This once more uses the ttcombat tournament set with some added pieces to help it match with the gaming mat. This mat is the Xenos jungle one from Deepcut Studios. 

Terrain Showcase- UKTC Jungle Board

This latest table is my second jungle board that I have made. The first was made using GW ruins and painted a lighter colour. 

For the second one, I wanted to go with a different style and a darker tone for the buildings and board to match the darker gaming mat. This mat was from pwork wargames. 

Terrain Showcase- UKTC Desert Table

Another terrain showcase, this time using a desert-themed board with mdf terrain. This once more uses the ttcombat Municipium terrain set. These are really good tournament sets that can be quickly painted up and themed to gaming mats. 

Terrain Showcase- Necron City

 Today I have another table that I built for my gaming group, Didcot Wargames Club. This was once more using ttcombat terrain, as well as some scratch built pieces to match up with a Necron-themed gaming mat from Frontline Gaming.

 Hello there strangers! It's been an absolute age since I last posted, but I have been very busy in that time. My games club, Didcot Wargames Club, has been going strong with lots of regular attendees. I've also been hosting local tournament for the past year. 

Terrain Showcase- Sandswept City

This week's terrain showcase is one of my most recent boards. This board mainly based on the Chalnath Kill Team ruins, painted up to match the Sandswept City mat from Frontline Gaming. The Chalnath ruins are lovely pieces of kit, and I wish they had more of them available to buy. They are much sturdier than the old style ruins and I think they look really nice on the table. 

Terrain Showcase- Industrial Board

Today's hobby showcase features an Industrial board that I made for my local gaming club. This was based on the kill team boxed set with the pipes and ruins. I really liked this set of terrain and wanted to paint it in a yellow scheme, with some rust.

 Hi everyone, today I have another terrain showcase for you. This time, a corrupted earth board that I made for my local gaming club. This was similar to the lava board that I made, with just a changed colour scheme to match the gaming mat.
