Today's Hobby Update sees my completed Atalan Jackals unit for my Genestealer Cults army. This unit has been armed with Shotguns, a grenade launcher and demolition charges. This should provide a mobile unit for the army, with some decent firepower.

ReplyDeleteIt's a cool model. I thought the helmet would be good for the flamer, to help keep him protected from the heat.
DeleteThose look great, dude! I need to get back on track with mine. How did you settle on the Incinerator for the WolfQuad? I'm really having trouble picking an option for that.
ReplyDeleteI went for the auto-hits. Moving and firing with heavy weapons for the cult simply doesn't work, as you are generally hitting on a 5+. I figured if I go for the Demolition charges bomb, I will get one turn of firepower with the unit, so went with the weapon that hits automatically and has the option to do some damage against nearby infantry.
DeleteGotcha. Since I'm pretty much sold on Rusted Claw, I didn't think much about the move and fire penalty, so the others seem more viable.
