This week, I have been continuing progress on my Genestealer Cults. I managed to get a second unit of Acolyte Hybrids painted up, completing 6 new models. All that need to be done is finish the bases for the unit to be complete.
Here are some work in progress shots and the almost completed photos.
Good work pal! I'm looking forward to getting a few more cult models myself in the not-too-distant future! How are you finding them to paint?
ReplyDeleteVery detailed, which is why they are taking so long to paint. I actually find the acolytes easier than the neophytes, so might focus on them for a while.
ReplyDeleteI've been painting AOS bloodreavers to use as cultists for my world eaters. I have the same "problem" with lots of detail, so long to paint. It's great that the models are to that point
DeleteYeah, the plastics now are fantastic. The Age of Sigmar range especially seems to feature some amazingly detailed kits.
DeleteLooks great, nice to see the details of the armour match the same as the old school Hybrids in the Space Hulk expansions.
ReplyDeleteCheers Siph!
DeleteNice classic look for them. I'm messing around with a Kill Team of them for SW:A, but it's slow going because, as you say, they have a lot of detail to cover.
ReplyDeleteThey really are great models. Perfect for kill team, but more tricky for getting a whole horde army done!
