Hobby Update 05/11/19- Dark Angels Primaris Suppressor Squad

Today's hobby update features the Suppressor Squad for my Dark Angels Primaris army. This is a squad of three from the Shadowspear boxed set.

The unit provides some strong anti-tank firepower for the army, as well as some added mobility.

  1. Nice models!
These guys might leave Drop Pods no longer eligible for deep striking, don't you think?

    1. Thanks! Drop Pods haven't really seen the big resurgence since their rules changed, in my opinion. I don't tend to run them in my list in all honesty.

  2. Nice paint job. Never been a fan of the models themselves sadly.

    1. I don't mind them. Just the flying bases are a nightmare. Ended up pinning mine into place.

  3. Looking good! The sculpts are a bit awkward, but I've never understood the hatred that some folks have for them. I do sort of wish there was an option to base them standing on the ground, just because it means not dealing with those horrible new flying stands.

    1. The new flying bases are just awful. I ended up pinning mine in place, otherwise they just snap off all the time.

  4. Squad looks great, fluff behind them and practicality of them, meh, but you did a great job. They look like they should rake the enemy effectively enough.

  5. Solid work! I can't get over how ridiculous the models themselves are though. Even in the comically unrealistic set of heavy weapons the Space Marines have, these take the biscuit.
