Hobby Update 23/10/18- Genestealer Cult Magus and Primus
Another Warhammer 40k hobby update for you today, this time another Magus and Primus for my Genestealer Cult army.
I painted these two up with blue robes and a coat, rather than the orange as is usual in the army. This is to allow me to distinguish them from the others in my army.
They look rather fetching, good job. I like the orange nod in the Magus braid thingy, and love the pale sickly fleshtones (*Primus needs his belt buckle and clasp coloured metallic, soz...)
Haha! I can always count on you to pick out my tiny errors! Yeah, I need to go and touch these up, I'm sure the other Primus had the same thing (and you pointed it out there too!).
These really are splendid models...if you ever find yourself in the Underhive be sure to look us up...the girls want their Needle pistol back ;-) Great work pal.
They look proper evil. I like it! The flesh tones (with a purple wash?) are definitely creepy. I think the blues look great and your orangey/yellow spot colours and grass compliment them perfectly.
Cheers! Yeah, the flesh gets a purple wash to give them the creepy feel. I wanted to add some orange to match the rest of my army and tie the theme together.
