Warhammer Fest- Golden Demon Photos

I was attending Warhammer Fest down in Coventry at the weekend. There were some great displays at the event, including the Golden Demon painting competition. I will have a few photo posts and battle reports from the event to post, starting today with some of the Golden Demon entrants.

The quality of entries on display was breathtaking. Any favourites from amongst the bunch?

  1. I would love to see some more shots of the Centurion putting on the armor, such a good theme for a diorama.

    1. Yeah, really nice, but I'm afraid that's all I got. As you can imagine, the display cases were incredibly busy, it was a struggle just to get the photos that I did!

  2. Wow, some top notch stuff this time around. It'd be nice if they published a yearbook, and not just the winners in WD. Some of those dioramas really need a good hour to soak in; I guess one "had to be there". Thank you!

    1. No problem. I only got to see a fraction of the entries, but there was some amazing work there. I did focus on the dioramas, as I think these are the most interesting of the categories.

  3. Love the library walker thing. If that's not ripped straight from the Grimdark universe I don't know what is?! Like that renegade looking Knights pose too with that leg reposed on the mound. Very different posture.

    1. Yeah, they were both very cool. The display cases had some great lighting to see the details, but it did mess with the photos a little.
