Instead, pin the object further down. The pin will hold it and keep it was wagging back and forth, and is infinitely faster then doing another group of magnets.

Just make sure you only glue the pin in one direction!

I use this on my dreads now to keep the arms from drooping. A little hidden pin allows me to use a simple ball and socket magnet, and then the arm droops forward, and is held in place by a pin under the collar of the shoulder pad.greggleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15528518337222880432noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2668255476316917252.post-23602995171014948752015-10-04T14:40:15.420+01:002015-10-04T14:40:15.420+01:00I'm thinking about including them from now on,...I'm thinking about including them from now on, it just depends what I am building in the future. Will I would have had them for my guard tanks, would like to be able to remove the sponsons from the Russes now (stupid no lumbering behemoth rule!). I might even pick up some larger magnets and have a go at magnetising my Stompa arms for ease of storage.

I think I managed to recover most of them when I swept up. I was just not expecting it to be so fiddly!Mike (Didcot Wargames Club)https://www.blogger.com/profile/04136576868354842829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2668255476316917252.post-6459451386977855962015-10-04T12:22:04.090+01:002015-10-04T12:22:04.090+01:00Good job dude! In terms of losing magnets I keep a slim metal bar I nicked from work nearby, I just pass it over the floor when I drop a magnet and it picks it up :P

You set to bring magnets to your every day hobbying now? Now I have started using them they are so handy for painting in hard to reach places if the model is glued.

I also have a set of 3mm wide magnets for those heavier items that just won't hold with the 2mm wide magnets.Rob-not-stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13535589578326730130noreply@blogger.com
