This would be a quicker process, although you would use more paint that would eventually be covered by the green. <br /><br />Also the highlights you do now all start in the middle of each light area, which allows there to be a darker faded edge towards the green, whereas if you highlighted beforehand you'd get a universal highlight across the model and not just in the brown areas.
